I got lucky with the weather during my One Week: 50 Dog Miles.  Day 7 was no exception; I even got a little help with late afternoon clouds to help me stay cooler on my second dog walk of the day.

Occassionally on the weekends we will take advantage of the empty downtown parking lots and enjoy a walk across the river bridge pedestrian walk and around the capitol grounds. This change of scenery helps with what Ed "The Chauffeur" calls my doggy ADD.  Before the August heat got too warm, I got a brisk 3 2/3 miles.  Then the afternoon clouds helped me get a 3.75 mile evening walk in a little earlier than normal on the greenway.

And I made it to 50 miles walked in one week. After Day 6 I had logged 43.50 miles. With today's walks totaling approximately 7.4 miles, my week total is 50.9 miles with a total walking /hiking time of 15 hours 19 minutes.
