One Week: 50 Dog Miles (Day 3)

Wednesday, Day 3 of my One Week: 50 Dog Miles found my human running later than normal this morning. So we stuck to the local greenway where the flat terrain would allow us to cover more ground in less time. Then he decided we should take a lunch break today. I like lunch breaks; they mean I get to go to a small park where we walk slow and I can get in and out and in and out of the water. I am negotiating more lunch breaks in my contract next year.
This evening we had a good brisk walk making up for the shorter-than-normal morning walk. A good portion of it was in the dark. Anyone else noticing it is getting dark earlier and earlier?
After 3 days of logging my daily exercise walks & hikes, my total distance is 23 miles and total time is 6 hours and 43 minutes.
