Busy Buffalo Day

After a few days in Rochester, we headed west to explore the Buffalo, New York area. Our
first stop was Niagara Falls State Park. We got some great photos from Prospect Point overlooking the American Falls (can you believe they named it after me!).
Unfortunately it was a rainy day and we didn't get a chance to explore the hiking trails and gorge. But the upside was the park wasn't crowded!
While in Niagara Falls, NY I met Rocky the Dog who is also a formerly abandoned dog.
Along with the photos linked here, stay tuned as I share more great photos from today. Remember each and every comment made on blog posts, photos, etc. is an entry into our contest ending May 15.
In Buffalo I stopped by Anchor Bar: Home of the Original Buffalo Chicken Wings. Can you believe I didn't even get one chicken wing as a special treat?! Not even after posing for a picture in the rain with a Pink Elephant!
Buffalo is a big sports town so we made sure to add Ralph Wilson Stadium (Home of the NFL Buffalo Bills) and HSBC Arena (Home of the NHL Buffalo Sabres) to my Sports Stadium Photo Album. There are lots of other smaller ballparks and sporting venues we wanted to see but with nasty weather we wanted to be out of town before the evening rush hour.
I am looking forward to checking out Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
tomorrow. The Chauffeur says he has been there and I will enjoy walking along Lake Erie.
As always, you can click the photos shown here for larger views and access to more photos in the K9 Photos section.
