Dog Report from Mount Magazine

After leaving the White Rock Mountain Recreation Area yesterday morning, we made slow travel down to Mount Magazine - the highest point in Arkansas. At an elevation of 2750 feet the views are vast and great. Even though we are over half-a-mile high it is interesting to think we are only about 1/4 the elevation of our Rocky Mountain camp (click for photo album).

Arkansas Dog Travel Day

Have had a blast since Thursday evening in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas. If you missed my blog Saturday you missed the Civil War soldier, jet fighter, and Army helicopter I found along the way. White Rock Mountain Dog Report

Been out of telecommunications for most of the past two days. Thursday afternoon we stopped at Pea Ridge National Military Park. This was a requested stop by the human half of our traveling party. At least he didn't make me go on a guided history tour like Prairie Grove Battlefield.
