Travelling up MO 27 (4 lanes & Interstate-like at this point), we made one last stop before hitting Iowa.  At back of the Flying J parking lot, there was easy access to plenty of green area.   A 5-10 min sniff and walk is possible.   Should a longer stroll be needed, the nearby community of Wayland offers the walking amenities of a small town off the beaten path.

Town of Wayland

If the traveling dog requires a lengthy walk to burn off that perpetual canine energy, the town of Wayland, Missouri offers an opportunity to walk around in a small town setting.  Remember, be courteous and pick up after yourself.
