After a morning of being dragged throught the muck and mire at Crater of the Diamonds State Park, I was excited to arrive at McRae Park.

 

Going off a "green spot" on the GPS, we didn't know what to expect.  While not the fanciest park, McRae Park was PERFECT for a dog stop.

 

Across from the baseball field, there was a large fenced green area (approximately an acre) with a picnic shelter. 

 

Here we relaxed, my chauffeur enjoyed a quick lunch, and I got to get some exercise playing fetch.  I enjoyed the extra attention when 2 local kids, Whitney and Jordan, came over and played with me.
