Travelling across Missouri, we have stopped at the Olendorf Roadside Park numerous times.

This is by no means your picture perfect, pristine roadside park used in tourism brochures.  It's care and maintenance does not seem to fall within the "TLC" category.

The grounds are generally littered with picnic leftovers.  Today, there was a pork-steak bone and spare rib I REALLY wanted but my chauffeur was not cooperative.  We also saw plasticware and even a broken disposable razor on the ground.

There are 2 stone fire pits but as you can see in the pictures they are filled with brush and trash.

If you are a travelling dog looking for a bathroom break with lots of sniffing around many oak trees, this stop will be sufficient.

Tell your driver to take it slow when pulling in.  This is a popular stop for truck drivers and the service road has many huge potholes.

Nearby is a Phillips 66 and a diner called Moulder's Grill & Deli.  My chauffer says it's a decent place for breakfast and lunch followed with pie.
