Vermont State Park Pet Policy

Pets are part of your family, and we know that you want them to share your fun when visiting a state park. Here is what you need to know for a great experience:

Pets must be safely confined or on a leash less than ten feet at all times

Your pet is expected to have current rabies vaccination

Please respect others by keeping barking to a minimum

Please pick up after your pet

Pets are allowed:

At all campgrounds. There is a per night pet fee. Some campgrounds have specific areas for pets.

On all trails, unless otherwise designated.

Lake Carmi Loop A Campers' Beach

Pets are not allowed:

On beaches

In picnic areas and pavilions

In cabins (except for Cabin A at Lake Carmi)

In cottages
