I want to bring my dog with me to the state parks. What do I need to know?

Your pet is allowed in parks. We ask that you keep your pet under control. Please clean up after your pet, too. We also require that pets are kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet and that you not leave your pet alone. Pets are allowed on trails except in designated areas. They are not allowed on swimming beaches or in any park buildings, including comfort stations, cabins and lodges.
