Idaho State Park Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in most parks, but you must keep them on a leash no longer than six feet, or confined to your camper. Do not leave pets unattended in a closed vehicle during the heat of the day. At night,they must be kept inside a vehicle or tent. Some parks have established pet exercise areas. Please ask. Pets are not allowed on beaches. They are not allowed at the Sandy Point Unit of Lucky Peak State Park. Pets are allowed only in the parking lot at Harriman State Park.
