Arkansas State Park Pet Policy

The commission passed a pet policy for state park cabins. As an accommodation to guests traveling with their dogs, Arkansas State Parks will designate dog-friendly cabins. State Park lodges and duplex cabins are not eligible for dog-friendly designation (service animals used by disabled guests qualifying under ADA are permitted). One cabin per 10 cabins will be established as “dog friendly” at the following State Parks: Devil’s Den, Lake Catherine, Lake Ouachita, Mount Magazine, Mount Nebo, Petit Jean, and Village Creek. The number of dogs per cabin is limited to two regardless of size. A non-refundable fee of $40 per dog will be collected at check in and covers the duration of the renter’s stay.
